IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DELIVERY: Teckentrup 62 Swing Doors are exceptionally heavy. Deliveries will be made to the kerbside via a tail lift.
It will be required that the customer has enough people, or a fork lift to help offload.

If this is not possible, then the order can be broken down into parts to reduce the weight. Please note that there will be an added charge for this.

The Teckentrup 62 Insulated Side Hinged Doors come as standard with a block fixing sub frame and raised threshold.

All Teckentrup swing secure garage doors are made to order.

The door and frame are fully CE marked and have been independently tested to the following characteristics:

Air Permeability - EN 12426: Class 2
Operating Forces - EN 12604: 150N
Watertightness - EN 12425: Class 2
Insulation (Thermal Transmittance) - EN 13241-1 B: 1.4 Wm²K
Operating Cycles - EN1191 C5 (200,000)
Resistance to Windload - EN 12424: Class 2
Security (optional) - EN1627/30 RC2 or Secured by Design Police Preferred Specification.

Secured by Design as standard
Certified to the Secured by Design Police Preferred Specification as standard, tested to LPS 1175 Issue 8 A1 (SR1).

As well as the certification, the door will have the following:
• Stainless steel lever handles
• Reinforced cylinder guard around the euro cylinder
• Additional internal reinforcing in the door leaf (not visible)
• Stainless steel fixings to suit frame type

Domestic or commercial hinged steel doorsets with performance ratings and test certification.

Handles
A stainless steel lever handle and security keyed cylinder is supplied as standard on all doors.

Stainless steel pull handles are available in two lengths, either 1200mm or 1500mm. These can be supplied individually or in pairs.

Security
Each door is supplied with a pair of Security Keys. These keys add extra security by preventing unauthorised copying. They cannot be cut by anyone other than the issuer of the key - Teckentrup.

Hinges
KO hinges are supplied as standard, these are matched to the colour of the door. Alternatively, stainless steel hinges are available at an extra cost.

Frame
Block frame with mineral wool infill.

Threshold
Raised threshold as standard for improved weather protection. The stepped aluminium threshold with a bulb weather strip is provided. When the door leaf is closed against the weatherstrip it creates an improved barrier against dust and other debris. The threshold is DDA compliant for wheelchair access.

Stays
Foot operated door stays x2 to hold the door in the open position.
Please Note: These stays are not designed for high wind applications.

Rain-Guard
Anodised aluminium (not colour matched).
The rain-guard is supplied with all doors to help limit water ingress at the top of the door.

Installation Instructions are provided with every door.
These doors are very heavy for manouvering due to their construction, please be aware.

There are 3 different sub frame types available with the block frame offered as standard. A corner frame system and corner counter frame is also available to completely cover the reveals potentially and make a neat finish whilst also potentially maximising the aperture with the hinge positions.

2-year manufacturer’s guarantee
> on mechanical defects, material and manufacturing flaws of all non-moving parts of the frame that are verifiably unusable or whose usability is substantially compromised.

10-year manufacturer’s guarantee
> on panels against rust penetration from inside to outside
> on floor seal and frame seals against rotting

The guarantee does not apply to doors that are subjected to extreme conditions, e.g. corrosive influences resulting from use in a coastal climate with high salt content.
