Double skin steel door leaves, aluminium outer sub frame, locking, hinges, handles and door stays, all factory pre fitted for the very easiest on site installation.
No preparation required, door is prefinished in choice of super high quality powdercoat colours on a super stylish smooth finish, Horizontal Ribbed design door.

The Acton door is a simple and elegant design and a classic set of side hinged doors with vertical lines for a traditional look on so many properties. Smooth surface finish and high quality powdercoat finish with a choice of classic Heritage RAL colours. Perfectly complimented with a long stainless steel handle as standard, with the option to add a second handle.
The GDO insulated double skinned steel London range offers you the greatest performance for any hinged garage doors currently available in the UK. The standard specification and overall performance is second to none when you want a pair of side hinged garage doors to offer more than just closing off the opening. These doors not only look good, they perform well too in terms of security, durability and insulation properties from the 40mm thick door leaves.
The vertical ribbed design simulates the classic vertical timber boarding for timber door panels as used in the majority of traditional and period homes. The modern touch is the smooth painted finish and helps this door to be a perfect option for almost any house style.
The door panels are manufactured from 40mm multi layered steel panel providing great strength and total stability ensuring effortless operation every time and guarantees on the longevity of the doors.
The biggest benefit of the GDO insulated steel door range is the fact these doors all come completely assembled with a box section aluminium outer sub frame, which is prefitted at the factory so the ‘doorset’ comes to you all ready to simply offer into the opening and secure with appropriate fixings before fine tuning the adjustable hinges.
Door frame, hinges, locking and all weatherseals and hardware is all factory fitted as standard.

Smooth external door panel finish with powdercoat colour finish from selection of heritage colours. Internal face is a stucco off white colour as standard.
• Stainless steel handle and rose to the active leaf
• Handle and Thumb turn to the inside for easy and convenient unlocking and exit
• Easy-latch concealed shoot bolts to the top and bottom of the inactive leaf
• Aluminium strip threshold with blade seal to the bottom of each door leaf
• Each leaf is fitted with a easy-action friction stay to hold the door leaf open
• The inside of the door has a frame and panel section joints that match the colour of front face of the door, with a practical grey white stucco texture (RAL 9002) to the back of each panel section
> High Quality Hinges - Aluminium hinges with secured hinge bolts to make it extremely difficult to lever open the door and are easily adjusted.
> Stainless Steel Handles - High grade stainless steel handles and lock covers are tough and attractive.
> Double seals and mitred corners - In addition to the circumferential seal around the door leaf the door frame has a three sided seal for excellent draught reduction. Profiles are mitre jointed for a neat finish.
> Door stays - Protecting your door from slam closure on windy days these top grade, spring dampened stays hold the door securley in the open position.
> Flush bolt security - The inactive leaf is secured with flush bolts to the top and bottom of the leaf.
> Hardware - DIN standard CE marked European sash lock and a pair of stainless steel round bar lever handles on 50mm diameter roses. A Euro profile cylinder and thumb turn with stainless steel escutcheons is included as standard (double cylinder, key both sides is available as an option if required). The inactive leaf is fitted with top and bottom recessed lever action flush bolts. A stay is fitted to each leaf to hold the door in the open position.
> Door Lock Cylinder Security Upgrade - Easier and cheaper to obtain replacement keys, 3 keys as standard, BS EN1303 Cylinder Security Grade 2, Anti-drill and anti-pick design, break off system to deter forced entry. • Handle and Thumb turn to the inside for easy and convenient unlocking and exit.
If you require a key cut, please note that these cannot be cut locally to maintain key security. Please get in contact with us with your unique key reference number (this is located on a sticker on the inside of the door).
Notes about Insulation:
GDO Side Hinged Garage Doors have not been tested for thermal performance. The declaration of performance for GDO Side Hinged Garage Doors, as part of the requirement of the British Standard for Garage doors (EN13241-1), states, “No Performance Determined”. This means we make no claims about the insulating properties of our doors and you must decide, knowing this, if they are suitable for your needs. The sub frame is made from aluminium hollow-section profiles.
The door panel sections have been tested but not as a complete door and have a U value of 0.56 W/m²K. The doors will provide great levels of insulation but are not manufactured with an insulated sub frame or testing like a front entrance door would be.
