CarTeck introduces fully pre-assembled spring trays for sectional garage doors*, streamlining the installation process
In a significant enhancement to its product line, CarTeck has announced a new feature that will simplify the installation of its sectional garage doors. From now on, all single-layer spring trays with 115mm headroom will be delivered fully assembled at no extra cost. This update is designed to make the installation process faster and more efficient for installers.
The newly assembled spring trays come with springs, pulleys, spacers, and cables already set up, lubricated, and securely enclosed within the tray. With the tray lid on and clips set, you will no longer need to open the trays during installation. This reduces the process to a simple cable hook-up, significantly cutting down the time required to fit the doors.
The fitting instruction steps relating to the spring tray assembly can be skipped:
• 3.11 Assembling the double and triple spring package
• 3.13 Installing the spring package into the spring channel
• 3.15 Assembly of the spring channel cover
All doors with pre-loaded spring trays will be delivered with a pre-loaded spring tray 'how to' guide included in the fitting instructions.
Here's what the spring trays will look like when they are pre-assembled:
Anti-twist bracket
The brown tape holds the anti-twist bracket in position. This prevents the cables twisting inside the spring tray whilst you set up the cables.
IMPORTANT: The tape and the anti-twist bracket must be removed but only after the cables are installed.
*NOTE: Applies to single layer springing (115mm headroom), which make up 90% of all door orders, NOT double layer springing (140mm headroom).
