Using the most popular and durable size of 77mm double walled aluminium insulated slats, this fully smart enabled electric roller garage door is a robust, high quality design and uses a Somfy Rollixo Premium IO remote control system with optical safety detection in the bottom leading edge weatherseal on the door and additional infra red beams to comply with the full potential functions available. It also includes the Somfy electric motor drive as standard.
This is a 'full smart' controlled electric roller door and uses the Somfy Tahoma Switch system for smartphone control and multiple other functions and features including connection with up to 200 other products around your home.

Complete Smart roller door control via a free app from Somfy. Multiple smartphones can be programmed to work this electric roller door, along with voice control too.
‘Full Smart’ means you can set up automatic preset scenarios with the Tahoma Switch system. You can also connect the Tahoma Switch to other products around your home now or later. Somfy and non Somfy product compatible - i.e. Philips Hue, Sonos, Zigbee 3.0, etc.
Auto closing for the door is also possible with the control panel. Forget to close your door after leaving with the car, no problem, the dor can close itself with adjustable timing facility for you to set as required. Complete safety on closing is assured with 2 safety detection systems included.

This fully smart enabled electric aluminium roller garage door is purpose made to the millimetre and is supplied as standard with Somfy Rollixo Premium IO remote control operation, including a built in courtesy light with the Rollixo wall mounted control panel and integrated control buttons for the door control internally.
The IO protocol this control panel works with enables the user to see exactly where the roller door is during operation and whether it is open or closed. This is because of the 2 way communication IO provides to any user.
With the additional infra red beams included you can also set this roller door to close automatically after a preset time once opened fully. Very useful to ensure your door is always closed, just like most electric entrance gates are programmed to work.
Remote Freedom
No matter where you are or what time it is you can check your Tahoma app and check the position of your garage door(s). If you forgot to close them, then a simple tap on your phone will make that happen.
If you are expecting a delivery you can open your garage door, or electric gates from your smartphone (Somfy receiver for gate may be required) and check and close again.
From your car as you approach your house you can give a voice command to open your garage door (and gate) just before you arrive.
There is a built in alarm to warn of any attempted forced lifting of the door when closed.
A full hood cover is included as standard for maximum protection of the curtain and increased weather protection.

The aluminium side guides are either 70mm or 90mm wide, depending on the door width ordered.
Doors over 3000mm wide will have 90mm guides as standard so the clear opening width will be 180mm less than the Ordering Width.

The door also has an internal emergency manual winding handle system to operate in the event of a power failure, situated alongside the motor drive, which you can choose the side for operation when ordering. It is generally recognised that RTS will be gradually phased out in the future and IO protocol will be the normal specification, although it is possible for all the interfaces to communicate with both options..
Feedback function: the protocol always gives a feedback of the product on your control whether it has been properly opened or closed.

1.1.1. GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors are guaranteed against defect of material or workmanship by the manufacturer with a parts only warranty for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase.
1.1.2. GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors’ exterior finish is guaranteed to provide an effective weatherproof membrane that will resist perforation of the substrate from the weather side due to corrosion for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
1.1.3. Externally fitted reverse roll GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors will resist perforation of the substrate from the weather side due to corrosion for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Colour change or fade to the exterior surface will be limited and uniform during the guarantee.
1.1.4. GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control motors and the Genesis, Teleco Simple and C10 control units are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
1.1.5. Somfy motors and the Rollixo control unit are guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
1.2. This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights in addition to the manufacturers products that may be faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office.
1.3. The following terms apply to all GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors purchased for installation in the UK. The terms shall prevail or be in addition to any agreement between you, the customer, the installer and/or the manufacturer.
1.4. The manufacturer will replace any components of our products sold as GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors (‘the Product’) where the manufacturing process has resulted in a defect occurring during the relevant period specified in the Conditions of Guarantee.
