Most of the side hinged garage doors we sell online are made to order and many have a steel sub frame fitted as standard for the easiest of installation.

There are a couple of sizes which are extremely common on UK single garage sizes and with some adjustments and maybe some trimming you can make a standard set of doors fit a lot of openings.
Side Hinged garage doors are now one of the most popular types of garage door once again in the UK for many reasons and if you are going to replace an existing pair that have seen better days be aware you can specify and order made to measure sizes in steel, timber and double skinned insulated options. You will see most of the doors available in purpose made size options....

The timber side hinged doors we supply are only of the very highest quality, joinery made and not a low grade, knotty softwood. The majority of these side hinged timber doors are made to the size you require and you can also specify various timber sub fixing frame options. Look at the Cedar Door for traditional joinery and Garador timber side hinged doors, which are slightly different as they are set into a steel box section chassis.
These doors can be fully finished from the factory to save effort and hassle on site with decorating.

The basic steel side hinged doors available all come with a factory fitted standard steel sub frame but the doors themselves can be ordered made to measure.
Take a look at our GDO Side Hinged Doors and the Garador range.

The most interesting range for the UK are the latest ranges of double skinned, steel, insulated side hinged doors, offering strength, style and security along with the highest levels of insulation too.
All the doors are purpose made and supplied with an aluminium box section weathersealed sub frame factory fitted making on site installation very easy indeed. These are like a 'doorset' in terms of pressembled and tested in a factory environment with quality assurance on every door supplied. No need for any difficult on site door leaf hanging and seperate frame assembly and fixing.
See the Carteck Insulated Doors and our own faster delivery and standard size GDO Insulated Doors.
We also offer insulated garage doors from Hormann and Ryterna with the same features and benefits..

All these side hinged doors are available to order as purpose made doors.  (GDO standard sizes exempt)

We offer several different up and over doors as made to measure in Timber, GRP and Steel.
Many up and over garage doors already in existence have quite large infills above the door frame head and if you are replacing an older door why not think about having the new door made to fit the opening properly to maximise the width and height where possible? Not so long ago you could only buy standard size up and over doors but now it is possible to specify the size and also have the door supplied with a factory fitted fixing frame for the easiest on site installation.
Steel Up and Over Doors - Look at the superb Garador range of purpose made doors.
GRP Doors - Look at the Garador range with woodgrain finished door panels and steel sub frames.
Timber - Look at the vast Woodrite range or the Cedar and Garador range for high quality timber up and over door made to measure.
Be careful about how the doors are ordered and take care to include for the fixing sub frame in all calculations. Most up and over doors will be ordered by the dimensions inbetween the sub frame and not including the width of the legs and head of the chosen sub frame. Remember too all up and over doors can be fitted inbetween OR behind the garage opening as required.
