Canopy Gear for Single Up and Over Doors
A single canopy door mechanism is accommodated within the door frame with no parallel overhead tracks obtruding into the garage space. When opened, the door creates a 'canopy', with approximately one third of the door outside of the garage.
Advantages of a Canopy Door
- Provides full drive through width when open
- No internal fixed horizontal tracking required for guiding rollers
- Ease of installation
- 4 point locking (optional)
- al door for smaller sizes and manual operation only
Disadvantages of a Canopy Door
- Not ideal for electric automation

Retractable Gear for Single Up and Over Doors
Single retractable doors open along horizontal tracks situated in the interior of a garage and travel back into the garage space when opened. Retractable mechanisms are ideally suited to automatic operation.

Retractable Gear for Double Up and Over Doors
Double retractable doors open along horizontal tracks inside the garage and travel back inside the garage space when fully opened. Retractable mechanisms are ideally suited to automatic operation. Double doors need the same attention to detail as our single doors with the need for safety and security just as important as the design. It is with this in mind that great care is taken to produce doors as safe and as easy to operate as the single version.
