The Seceuroglide Compact roller garage door system has been designed especially for garages with severely limited headroom to provide a high quality, double skinned aluminium insulated roller door that only requires 205mm of headroom and is electric operated as standard.
The SeceuroGlide Compact is ideal for garages with limited internal headroom. Even if your garage has no headroom at all, making it unsuitable for many types of roller or sectional doors, the SeceuroGlide Compact can be fitted to the front of the garage opening so you can still enjoy the benefits of an insulated aluminium roller garage door.
Requiring just 8” (205mm) clearance above the opening height, the SeceuroGlide Compact’s insulated aluminium slats are narrower than those used for the standard SeceuroGlide (55mm for SeceuroGlide Compact, 78.5mm for standard SeceuroGlide), allowing a tighter and smaller coil which will fit into less headroom. The bespoke range of sizes means opening widths of up to 2880mm can be accomodated for.
Extremely versatile, the Compact roller door can be fitted either in front of or behind the garage opening. Alternatively, drive-through height permitting, the door may be installed within the garage opening. A neat 90° fascia completely conceals the back of the door’s coil, or an optional 45° canopy is available to completely enclose the coil. All exposed components are produced from corrosion resistant aluminium and powder coated in a choice of three colours. With a low maintenance finish, insulated slats and remote controlled operation, SeceuroGlide Compact is the flexible choice.
The SeceuroGlide Compact uses an innovative stainless steel locking attachment system providing greater strength than other manufacturers using plastic locking arms.
Additionally, the Compact aluminium curtain is secured with endlocks that firmly hold the individual slats in place to help prevent forced entry.
Narrowest Guide Rails
The Compact uses a narrower guide rail profile than the standard Seceuroglide roller door.
Just 60mm wide each side provides the maximum drivethrough width is installing inbetween an opening or is perfect for very small returns on brick piers.
The Seceuroglide Compact Roller Doors come with the SeceuroSense Plus control unit as standard.

The guides and hood are finished in white as standard or brown for the woodgrain finish door with the option of powdercoated guides if required (at an extra cost).

Measuring for a Seceuroglide Compact Roller Door.
Just like the other Seceuroglide roller doors the Compact is ordered and priced using the Overall Width including the guides (60mm x 2 = 120mm) and the Guide Height for the Ordering Height. The 205mm requirement for the endplates and curtain roll is over and above the specified guide height measurement and should only be considered for the installation and not for ordering or pricing the door.
Also bear in mind if you do not have 205mm of headroom it does not mean you cannot have the roller door, only that your headroom will be reduced when the door is open and being only 205mm this is not a lot more than a standard up and over garage door and head frame when open!
